28. Sorrow [100 Themes Challenge]

[Normal Ryou, Female Kaiba]

They each drank heavily, sitting in the kitchen alone.  She turned her head as he poured another glass, eyes going in and out of focus.

“Drowning ourselves in alcohol over a victory. How pathetic.”


“You’re the one that came home drunk with a bottle in hand.” He tried to steady her glass, but his hand wavered just as much as hers. “You’re lucky the creep didn’t try anything with you like this.”


“Hmph. You act as if my staff doesn’t know how to do their job. You grossly underestimate them, Bakura.”


Bakura sighed, just glad that she came home safely.

The Kaibas were drawn in Corel first and then colored in Gimp with the pen and ink tool to give a more darker and exact coloring. The Ryous were also drawn in Corel but not with as many dark and precise lines that the Kaibas were, so I used the Air Brush tool on them instead to give it that softer look. Euroshipping Headcanon #17

Kaiba has no casual clothes. Nope. None whatsoever.

He has his business suits, he has his dueling outfits and coats, but that’s pretty much it. No jeans, no tshirts, no hoodies, no sneakers, none of that. He doesn’t even wear polos with short sleeves. Or even polos at all, period. 

The closest thing he has to casual wear is the occasional sweater that can be paired with a nice pair of slacks. And you can bet those clothes will be wrinkle-free and spotless.

It makes things a little awkward when Ryou comes over to the mansion without a spare change of clothes. Besides everything being too long on him, Kaiba is also skinny as a rail underneath all of his layers of coat. It’s something they don’t really talk about.
